SEO Specialist

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for various internet marketing activities, including organic search campaign development, search engine optimization, on-page optimization, content development, technical SEO changes, link building, performance analysis and keyword reporting.

He/She must possess exceptional hands-on technical SEO knowledge. In this role, you will own all of the SEO efforts for a company. SEO Specialists must have superior analytical, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills as they will be expected to work remote.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Set and execute strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic

  • On-site optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO Copy Editing, sitemaps review/maintenance

  • Keyword research to identify and discover new targeting keywords and explore content strategy

  • Monitor, track, and analyze ranking performance on an ongoing basis, and optimize SEO campaigns as necessary

  • Develop and implement a backlink strategy

  • Write content for onsite and backlink SEO efforts as needed

  • Day-to-day execution of organic search engine campaigns including keyword research competitive research, content optimization, outreach strategy, and site architecture improvements

  • Produce technical audits as needed and execute on-page optimizations


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years experience in search engine optimization

  • Strong writing ability, with the ability to produce content that will be useful for SEO efforts

  • Extreme attention to detail and self-motivation

  • Data-driven mindset

  • Ability to communicate well and thrive in an all-remote setting

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Been through at least one major Google algorithm change

  • Tactical/Technical implementation experience

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console tools

  • Experience working with technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and Moz

  • Experience setting up, optimizing, and creating internal site search strategy

  • Understanding of HTML and CSS

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or other related field preferred
